E-ONE is a worldwide designer, manufacturer and marketer of fire rescue vehicles with more than 28,000 vehicles in operation around the globe. Established in 1974, E-ONE pioneered the use of extruded aluminium in first responder vehicles and continues to lead the industry today with innovative uses of this material along with our stainless steel product line. Headquartered in Ocala, Florida, innovation has been the company’s driving force and continues to be the impetus behind its pursuit of new technologies. The result is state-of-the-art fire rescue vehicles recognized for superior fire fighting and rescue capabilities.
Just as important as our full product line is the fact that E-ONE engineers and builds the most complete vehicle – chassis, cab, body, tank and aerial device on the market. Being a single source manufacturer, with world-class facilities in Ocala, Florida, and Hamburg, New York, E-One provides world-class service, competitive warranties, and thorough training.
Contrary to belief, E-ONE has the most innovative, advanced and reliable range of NFPA, ICAO and FAA compliant apparatus available, whether it is for the North American market or for the African continent, E-ONE does not manufacture to different standards for different markets, therefore South Africa, Southern Africa and the rest of Africa deserve the best product available on the world market.
Safety is of utmost importance to E-ONE when we design, engineer and build our apparatus, all are tested and certified by an Authorized Third Party company, especially for the E/ECE/TRANS/505 Regulation No. 29 Cab Crash Worthiness safety standards for the Entire four-door cab. E-ONE’s custom cab designs are tested and must first pass a series of demanding tests such as a side-impact pre-load, a quasi-static roof strength and a frontal impact. Not only do our cabs pass, but they exceed SAE and ECE requirements. Why do we put our cab designs through such intense trials? Because when it comes to safety, we believe “good enough” is “never good enough”.
